Just updated to Sonoma 14.4.1 and now my Mac (M3) won't recognize my DELL monitor, which was working fine before the update. Is anyone else experiencing this issue?

Interestingly this update amonst other things was supposed to fix an issue with connectivity and peripheral devices so I would try reconnecting the monitor as if it were the first time. Shut down your Mac, disconnect the monitor, start up the mac and go though the same steps you originally used to setup and connect the monitor.

Quick update on the external monitor issue with macOS Sonoma. I did that with no luck. It seems that by just performing a hard reset on the monitor (unplugged it, held the power button for 10 seconds while unplugged, and then plugged it back in) the issue disappeared completely. Thank you for the help!

If you are facing issue after sonoma update.
I just found that HDMi cable is not working, only VGA cable will work.

You need to use thunderbolt type C to VGA cable. I purchased this cable and working fine. I am able to detect external screen and using screen mirroring.
