I got a mac laptop from a family friend, it is an ibook. I tried to play a DVD in it and it opens quicktime but that is all that happens. When i try to go to the dvd it opens the folders VIDEO TS JACKET TS. How can i play DVD's on my computer? its updated to Mac OS x 10.3.9.

Have you got an Application called DVD Player in your Applications folder ?
