Dropbox on a mac

Hi everyone, new one here and a bit of a Mac novice.
Back when the iMac was new (years ago), we had Dropbox installed (keeps everything saved to the Dropbox cloud from other family devices) but it seems my Dropbox on the Mac stores everything to the harddrive as this now shows full. I want to keep dropbox on my Mac but not saved to the hardrive, saved only in the Dropbox cloud. I wonder if anyone can help me do this please. Thanks N

Hello and welcome.

You can change settings in the Dropbox app, depending on which type of account you have, to free up hard drive space and store things on the cloud. Here are some Dropbox help articles that explain it:

Hi,

Try it with a few files that you have a backup of somewhere else, and then make sure you can still access them via Dropbox in a browser.
