Downloader for list of links?

What would be the best app to use to download a list of file links in a text file? An example would be:

http://somesite.com/files/file1.zip
http://somesite.com/files/file2.zip
http://somesite.com/files/file3.zip

This could be a thousand...although if that were too many splitting the text file would be pretty easy.

I would prefer something that I could set to pause for a few seconds between files so as to not hammer the site.

I found a few things that just almost did the job but not quite.

Any ideas?

I've had a look at some download managers, as some of them can bulk import links. It looks like one called JDownloader 2 can import URLs from a text file (you may need to copy/paste the whole list in manually though). Worth a shot, as it's free and open source:
