Document cannot be saved

I want to save a pdf document in a map in Documents. Got this message: "The document cannot be saved. You don't currently have permission. Please save the document with a different name or in a different folder." Thanks for anu help.

Have you checked the permissions on your Documents folder?
Right click on folder > Get Info > Sharing & Permissions.
