Deleting all pics on iPhone

Hi guys. I have 5k pics on my iPhone 12. I recently copied all to an external hard drive. I also pay for 50gb of iCloud at 99cents a month. My question is what is the best way to mass delete all my pics from my phone? I don't care if they are on the cloud, and my MacBook Pro. I want to clean my phone. Is there a way to do that? Thank you.

Hi,

I assume that iCloud Photos is setup on the iPhone? If so, you can disable it in Settings > Your Apple ID > iCloud > Photos and it should prompt you to remove them from the iPhone. That won't affect the other devices using iCloud Photos.
