Delete old ID names/numbers

I don't even know the correct terminology, but when using firefox and I select a website that I need to log into, with the first click I get the name of the "ID". In some cases, I get old ones or ones entered in error and I don't know how to delete the unwanted ones.

Try the following:

• Click on the text field
• Press the Down key to activate autocomplete
• Highlight the entry you want deleted by using the arrow keys or hovering over it with your mouse
• Press Shift + Delete or, if using an extended keyboard, "Shift+Backspace").
