Hello,

What is the difference, if any, between a .csv and a .txt format ?

Seems when I save "something," it shows up, randomly, as either.

Usually I use Notepad.

Thanks,
Bob

Hello,

A TXT file is just a basic text file that can be use with any word processing application. A CSV file is also basically a text file, but it is special in that it is a comma-delimited (or other delimiter) file commonly exported from a spreadsheet program. They are used for things like mail merge, database import, etc.

I assume you mean the Notes application?
