Copy "photos" to flash drive

Good Morning/Afternoon.
I am trying to copy my entire "Photos" to a flash drive so that I can send them to my children. I was told that perhaps I had to first send the entire contents to a file and then send the file to the flash drives. Therein lies my problem. I am really stuck. Do I have to rate a new file, and if so how do I do it. Any help will be much appreciated.

I just copied my Photos Library Folder to a Flash Drive, and did not have any issues. Of course, that folder only had 3 photos in it, but that should be neither here nor there. I am suing the latest version of Sierra, OS 10.12.6, on my late 2012 Mac Mini. But that should not make any difference.

Shortly, I'll be copying an entire folder of mp4 movies onto that flash drive, and I suspect it will work fine.
