converting an Iphone in a Ipad

Hello, I am new. Sorry for my English, because I am not a mother tongue.
I have an IPhone since some years, currently an IPhone 4. I wanted to buy a new device. I had in mind to buy an IPhone 5. However, since I have another mobile phone, I also thought to buy a mini iPad instead of the IPhone 5.
This is my question. It is possible to configure the new iPad using the settings of my old iPhone? I mean, when one buys a new IPhone, through iTunes he can configure the new one like the old one (same pics, same apps, same music, ecc). Is it possible to do it "transferring" the IPhoene setting into an iPad instead?

Yes, this is very simple!

Get an iCloud account, backup your iPhone to iCloud.
When you are setting up your new iPad it will ask you if you want to restore from the iPhone backup. Done.
