Converting YouTube to iTunes for an ipod

I have an iPod classic that plays iTunes on a portable Bose sound dock that is not blue tooth. There are many softwares marketed to do this on my mac. I have OS X 10.7.5. And wonder what is the best option for converting youtube videos into iTunes that I can then add to my iPod classic.

Hello and welcome.

Do you want to play the videos on the iPod Classic with the sound coming from the Bose, or just convert the audio track?
