Hi there,

I am trying to convert a Word document to PDF, and whenever I do, the background image from the Word document does not copy over to the PDF document.

Is there an easy way to keep my background image once it converts?

Thank you!

How are you converting the doc to PDF?

Are you using the "Save as PDF" option under the PDF radio button in the Print window?

I've tried both ways, i.e. the save as, or hitting print and then selecting PDF, save as PDF.

In either case the background image set up in the Word doc does not copy over to PDF.

Thanks for any help you can give!

Have you checked Word Options ~> Display ~> Printing Options ~> Print background colours and images?

"Backgrounds" are intended for Web pages. What you want is a "watermark."

Use Format ~> Background ~> Printed Watermark to insert your image, and it will repeat on every page *and* print to PDF.
