CD won't eject

A commercially made CD is "hung" in the drive (plays fine in my vehicle though). Even when it spins up (usually only upon waking from sleep) I still don't get an icon on the desktop so I can't drag it to the trash to eject. Also, neither drop down "eject" nor command E will work. Is there a manual eject button or some sort of magic command?? (PowerBook G4, OSX 10.5.8)

Does your Mac have a tray or slot drive? Have you tried rebooting and holding the eject key on your keyboard just as the chime is heard? Also iTunes has an eject disc option as does Disc Utility.

Spawn - In disk utility, after it spun up, I did command E and that did the trick. MANY THANKS!! FYI - I had been trying the iTunes eject disk which wasn't working. My G4 has a slot drive. Again, MANY THANKS!
