Can't print: Mac OS X 10.4.10 w. HP photosmart C3180

I had a Mac installer disc for the printer, I installed it; it said it had been installed; but all I get is pages with two lines of stuff saying Adobe/numcopies/Pages/encoding etc. Initially, I thought I had installed it with one of the options that came with the Mac, but then I couldn't find the set up installer, so I started again with the disc.

Hi ejw, Firstly, what version of mac OSX are you running, and also what version of software have you installed for your printer.

When you say you get pages with two lines - when do you get this? When you attempt to print anything?
