Can't access other accounts in admin account

Hi this happens to me alot and i cant remember how i get around it. I go to system preferences, i open accounts, open my account which is an admin account, i unlock the lock with password, then i try to click on the other accounts (my son's) and it just wont select, i click and click with my mouse to no avail. I try tabbing that wont work, i try to log on to my other admin account, that doesnt work either! I really need to get into my son's account to halt some naughtiness he's been up to! someone hhhhhheeeeellllllpppppppp! thanks!:)

Hi there,

you need to log out of his account, then login as an admin then you can select his account via the control panel...and change his password etc...
