Can not connect to my mini

I am having problems connecting to my mac mini (10.3.9) from a 10.4 machine and a 10.5 machine. I have no problem reversing the process so I know the wireless is working. The machine will not accept the password. I know I am
entering password correctly. Can any one help?:( thanks
