I installed bootcamp.
Last night I was in windows downloading a game and turned the monitor brightness all the way down so I could sleep while it downloaded. Sometime during the night it did an update and restarted itself.
Now, I am unable to make the screen brighter again.
In safe mode I am able to see the start bar and icons, only the desktop background is blackened out. But in normal mode I can't see anything.
I've tried a system restore but I keep getting an error message.
Please tell me that there is way of fixing this without having to re-install everything.
