have imac late 2015 w / 2 external ssds and one tb hd (used for time machine ) drive 1 is boot drive to which i have added new apps. and the second ssd is a clone of the boot drive.....have added apps. to boot but dont know how to update clone drive with new applications ........

Hi,

If the iMac drive has all the apps, when you clone to the SSD, it will clone the new apps.

What software are you using to make the clone?

the OBVIOUS solution, never occured to me !!!!! thanks.......used ccc so ill do it again

No worries.

Depending on the software you are using to clone, you can set it to make an exact copy. Then, when it runs, it will add/delete all files to make the SSD and exact clone of the iMac's drive.
