I've been using Time Machine for some time. As my MacBook Pro (2012 model) was dying, I bought at MacBook Air and used the external backup drive to put my existing data on the new machine.
The backup drive worked fine with the Air when I was transferring the data, but now it doesn't. Can't even get it to fully mount; Disk Utility shows it grayed out and won't let me run first aid on it or erase it. Is there any way to salvage this disk?
