I recently "upgraded" to Catalina. The method of syncing iPods has changed as it is now done in Finder. The problem is that when I click on the Podcasts tab in the Finder window, many of the podcasts I have downloaded don't show up. I have double checked that I have downloaded by opening the Podcasts app. Any idea why this is happening and how I fix it?

The latest iOS version is 12.3.1 - is that what you have and not 1.1.2?
I don't have a Catalina Mac that I sync my iPhone or iPad with. You could try unchecking Sync podcasts onto iPod, disconnecting it, then syncing them again.
