automator to set up printers

Hi;
We're working on a standard image for a bunch of macs in several locations. We'd like to have a post-image script that installs printers. There would be several scripts and we'd select which one to run, based on the users location. i'm not finding a way in automator to add a printer. Any ideas?

Hi there and welcome,

It sounds more like an Applescript or shell script that you need...it's hard to say without knowing all the details...

How many Macs, what are the printers, how many locations...

I presume you are making a Disk Image or an ASR image ?

Can this not have each printer driver on it ?

Do you have Apple Remote Desktop ?
