Apple Cinema Display 27" w/iMac Pro 2017

I am trying to use the ACD 27" as a secondary display with my iMac Pro 2017. Is this possible? Currently I have a VisonTek VT7000 (powered up), USB-C running from the iMac to the VisionTek.. DisplayPort out on VisionTek to MiniDisplay Port in on the ACD.. but ACD doesn't fire up.

Hello,

I assume this is an Apple LED Cinema Display (27-inch) with Mini DisplayPort connection?

You cannot connect the Mini DisplayPort between the VisionTek and the Apple Cinema Display in that manner. You would need a Thunderbolt 3 to Mini DisplayPort adapter connected directly to the iMac Pro.
