When I use Adobe Flash Player, a box comes in the middle of the video, saying:

Adobe Flash Player Settings

Local Storage ?
s.ytimg.com is requesting permission to
store information on your computer.

Requested: up to 10 KB
Currently Used: 3 KB

Allow and Deny buttons are at the bottom, and Deny does not work most of the time, leaving me with the box in the middle of the video. The whole thing is irritating at best. I downloaded and installed Mac Keeper and that did not help. I tried to use Mac Keeper to uninstall, but that button will not work. Can anyone help?

Hi and welcome,

Firstly
1) I would stop then fully uninstall Mac Keeper this is a must.
2) uninstall FP from your system preferences by right clicking it as my screen shot.
3) Go here http://www.adobe.com/support/flash/downloads.html
and download the correct and latest version of FP for your system.

FYI, about that box that pops up:

Flash Player Local storage pop-up question

Do I have to answer this question (allow access/deny access) every time I run an application from this website?

No. You can use the Local Storage Settings panel to let future applications from this website store information on your computer without asking you for permission each time. To display the Local Storage panel:

  • Control-click the application image while it is running.
  • From the context menu, select Settings, and then click the Local Storage tab.
  • You can also use the Flash Player Settings Manager to manage your local storage settings both globally (for websites you haven't yet visited) and on a site-by-site basis (for websites you have already visited).

For more information, see What can I do with the Settings Manager?
