2nd hand Mac password problem

I just bought a G3 laptop from ebay, but the OS X is password protected and I don't have the startup discs. Any suggestions?

Hi there and welcome,

you need the startup disk, sorry. Or another Mac and a Firewire cable then you could clone the second Macs drive to yours...
