Hi everyone,
I'm having a major problem with my iMac. Whenever I try to power it on, I either get a flashing folder icon, a grey screen, or a flashing globe. I've tried booting from a USB flash drive with OSX 10.6.8, but it can't even boot into Disk Utility.
Sometimes, when I hold the power button, it beeps really loudly, flashes a grey screen, and then powers down. The power button also doesn't work sometimes. Here’s what I’ve tried so far:
Cmd+R
Shift
D
Rebooting
Replacing the HDD
Resetting the PRAM
Replacing the internal battery
None of these have worked.
Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
