Hello. My macbook is about 4 years old. I update my software every week, it says my system is up to date, my system is on version "MAC OS X 10.4.11". How do I get version 10.5 or higher???? I have something I am trying to download on my computer, but it won't allow it until I have 10.5..... PLEASE HELP.

10.4 is an operating system named "tiger" or 10.4 the last number like 10.4.11 is a indication of the update version of that operating system.
10.5 is a newer operating system call "leopard" or 10.5 and again the last number indicates the update version.
The latest version of apple operating is 10.6.5 also called "snow leopard".
To acquire leopard or snow leopard you will need to purchase an update disk from apple.
