hi,
i just got an iMac G5. everything seems to be ok apart from the iPhoto program. As soon as i clicked on it to open it the following message came up: You can't open the application iPhoto because it is damaged or incomplete. the computer, as you know, came with no cd to install software, whatever it had on offer was already installed. what do i do?
thank you

you could try deleting the
Library > Preferences > com.app.iphoto.plist
and trash the old photo library if they are not your files!
Move the Home > Pictures > iPhoto Library - Folder/File to the Trash (name and type differs with different iPhoto versions.

You really do need those DVDs.
