Hi, I have a white macbook, 1.83 GHz, OS X 10.5.2, with 2 gigs of ram.
I put all my files (docs, picture, videos, etc.) onto an external hard drive, and kept all the apps on the mac HD. I have a lot of huge programs (adobe cs3 master collection, microsoft office 08, final cut pro, and more.)
Then I saw that the library (the same library that has all the system files and everything that keep the mac working properly) was taking up over 16 gigs of memory....
Well then, I was stupid enough to actually delete all my system files off the mac hd and put them onto the external hd.
... so now nothing works.
I then moved all the files BACK onto the hd, but stil nothing works.
The only thing it says to do it to reinstall EVERYTHING, but that would seriously take a few hours, and I need my apps by noon today.
If anyone could please help, that would be awesome.
