stuck in the middle of my screen

I was opening my pictures folder and now I've got a box in the middle of the screen that won't go away. it has an icon of a folder and says "pictures,59 items, etc." Any help on how to get rid of it?

You might have hit the spacebar and activated QuickLook.

-Try tapping the spacebar
-Try restarting the Mac

if it's a QuickLook window, there is also a close (X) in the upper left.
