Have a 2011 15inch Mac book, went to start up today and the screen is showing faint red horizontal lines, it then goes into the grey/white screen which eventually goes black and shuts down and restarts over. Have tried Command Option P R which then showed a rotating world and then I put my network in and tha is where it stayed. Any ideas please

Hello and welcome.

I agree with Terry Corder - it sounds like the symptoms from that Repair Extension Program. You could take it to an Apple Store and have them diagnose it.

Try starting up holding the Option key, then select your hard drive if you get that far. The spinning globe icon is the Mac trying to boot from the network-based startup disk or Internet Recovery instead of the internal/external drive.
