Size of disc

I have got an apple mac ibook G4 which I have using for editing footage from my camcorder. I have got a new camcorder which do not have an USB connection but has only got supplied discs which are only 8cm. I have not been brave enough to insert these into the mac in fear that they may dissappear or get stuck???? Is it possible to insert these CD's/DVD's an get them out again?

Hi there and welcome !

don't put it in, you will not get it out and may damage the drive !

You need to use a 'tray' loading drive, ideally one with a center spindle that you can 'push' the disk onto.

What make/model camcorder do you have ?
