Used to be so easy with srm -rmv ~/.Trash. That doesn't work anymore. Now, I understand, you can securely erase A FILE with rm -P. But how do you securely erase a folder, like .Trash, with ONE COMMAND LINE? I can't seem to make it happen in Monterey.

rm -RP used to work on folders. I’m away from my home using my iPhone so can’t confirm.
