Recent Items

With the MacBook Pro Silver w/Sierra, the Recent Items shows 10 documents. How to change this to show more?

Go to System preferences, then General then towards the bottom of the window you can change the number of recent items on a drop down menu.

Yup, that is correct. The choices in that drop down menu are 10, 15, 20, 30, and 50, with the "default" (ie, the way the OS come pre-configured) being 10.
