I accidently deleted the hosts file on my mac whilst following an online guide for something to do with my iPhone. As a result whenever I start up my mac I only get the loading screen. I tried holding down C for a while and nothing happened. Also I tried the alt button on my mac but again nothing happened. How long do I need to hold them down for and if this doesn't work can anybody tell me what to do?
