If it is related to this: The Streaming Advisor: What Happened to Kodi on Apple TV? (I believe that is the URL you tried to link to above), then you are at the mercy of the developer of KODI. It seems an Apple TV 4 update may have broken the ability to sideload some third-party apps.

Unfortunately, I don't believe there is any official way to downgrade tvOS on the Apple TV 4 due to the way that Apple's software is signed. You would have to jailbreak the Apple TV, which we do not recommend or support.
