Phone apps start up when I don't want.

I recently got rid of my iPhone 6s plus' case. I carry it in my front pocket and occasionally it gets hot in my pocket. Also, occasionally Siri starts talking in my pocket. (This morning it started telling me how to get to a location in my calendar). I make sure I put it in my pocket with the home button up, so that I have the setting to light it up if I hold my phone up.

I have turned my phone all the way off and then on. Is there a setting I should look at?

There is a setting to turn Siri off at the lock screen. I'm sure there would be a setting to actually turn Siri off altogether if you never use this feature too....

Thanks, I just set it. That should solve at least some of my problem.
