Hi there and welcome !

do you mean your User Password ?

If so boot of the OS CD or DVD and Choose Reset Password from the Installer menu (or Utilities menu in Mac OS X 10.4 Tiger).

This will allow you to reset the main account or Admin password !

What version of OS X are you running ?

How many user accounts are on that Mac ?

Hi there,

passwords are case sensitive...

The Boot disk should work, I've never had it fail yet.

Give this a go ! Boot from the Disk holding down the c key

So Ric,

do tell us how you insert all those sreen shots. I know the Command-Shift-3 and
Command-Shift-4 commands, but are just just dragging & drop into the message area?

Hi dick,

You can add the images inline by pressing the "Insert Image" button...

insert-image-001.jpg

You are then presented with a dialog box, where you need to enter the URL of the image...

There are various "Image Hosting" websites where you can set up an account, such as...

http://imageshack.us/ or http://photobucket.com/

...you need to 'link' to the image files... from a web server !

So once you had an account with one of these companies, you then do a screen grab...send it to your Image Hosting account and link to it here !

If you haven't got an Image host then you can also add the image as an attachment, see below.

If I see images added as attachments, I will change them to inline pics by adding them to my space...

Hope that helps !
