Notes format is different from on-line

If I am going to post on a forum like this, I sometimes like to write it up on Notes, with blank lines between paragraphs. I then select all and paste it here.
And then I discover I have to delete a bunch of blank lines that somehow got added.

How do I write up a nicely formatted post on my Notes app and then paste it here nicely formatted?

Hi,

You can try Edit > Paste and Match Style: Option - Command - Shift -V

That should work.

That works. I always forget the key for that but use the drop-down menu a lot.
