How to recover notes that have disappeared after this last update

If the notes were synced via iCloud, you can sign out of iCloud, and then sign back in. Then give it a few minutes to sync.

Maybe, maybe not. They could already have disappeared from iCloud. I accidentally deleted all the text in one of my Notes. By the time I turned off WiFi on the iPhone and gone to iCloud on my Mac, the text had disappeared from the iCloud copy as well.

If it's not a sync issue, and you accidently deleted your notes they will show up in the Recently Deleted folder in the Notes app.
