Hi Everyone,
I'm reaching out to the amazing Mac-Help community to help solve a mystery I’ve been experiencing for months. For some reason, I'm not receiving notifications from some of my contacts. If I'm holding the phone and it's unlocked, I get the notification (both sound and vibration). However, if the phone is not in my hand or unlocked, I receive absolutely nothing—no sound, no vibration, and not even a notification on my Apple Watch. This is incredibly frustrating as I miss important messages or don’t see them for hours until I next open my phone.
Interestingly, this issue only affects some contacts, with one in particular being the most problematic. To troubleshoot, I’ve unpaired and repaired my watch, and even bought a new one, but the problem persists on both. It happens whether I'm wearing the watch or not, and both the watch and phone have notifications enabled. This issue occurred on my iPhone XS Max and continues on my 13 Pro Max.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks,
