No matter what I do, the DVD will not come out of slot.

While the DVD is in my Mac, the DVD plays fine, but for the life of me I can't get the disk to LEAVE the Mac.

Like, whenever I press the eject button, I hear the "ejecting noise" and I hear the disk moving to leave, but it pauses right before it leaves and retreats BACK into the disk slot and starts up the DVD all over again, I have no idea what to do as I tired everything to get the thing out (use a credit card to "drag" it out) and at this point im just frustrated because im at a total loss of what to do. Any ideas?

Hi and welcome,

I take it you have shut down and rebooted, also what Mac are you running?

iTunes has a Eject Disc Menu Option that will often eject stubborn discs. Also hold down the eject key on the keyboard for a count of 10.

Hello,
Among other things, you can also use Disk Utility to try ejecting the disc.

Which model Mac?

It could be because of the optical media slot opening being bent. That happens a lot on the older plastic white/black MacBooks.
