Hi, my name is John ( from Yorkshire U.K. ) Just got my first Apple Computer & am delighted with it so far & decided to join your Forum to help me get to grips with Apple Computing. Thanks for all the info you guys post on the Forums it really is a big help to newbies like myself. Hope to keep in touch through the Forums.

Welcome, John. You will find that there are folks here that are willing to provide assistance for any issues you are having.

When you make a post requesting assistance, please include the following:

1. The exact Mac OS you are running.

2. Your exact Mac model.

3. Anything that you have tried to remedy the issue.

Also, it is best if you 1) perform disk cleanup/maintenance/repairs, from a software perspective, on a regular basis, and 2) make backups frequently yo an external device.

Our oldest son lives in Richmond, UK (a suburb of London), so I am "kind of" familiar with the UK. Of course, Yorkshire is quite a way from London.
