SOLVED Need to log in every morning.

I am running Ventura 13.0.1 on a 2019 MacBook Pro 16" that I don't shut down at night. Next morning, I have to use my password and then watch as apps load, some of which also need a password, notably LastPass. Is this normal?

If you don't shut down at night, then your Mac is sleeping. Go Sys Prefs>Security & Privacy and see if you have "Require password after sleep" ticked.
