Need Help with final cut pro 5

hi everybody,

how do i set chapters in final cut pro 5,
i try putting chapter but when i rendered and
export in .mov format it did not have any chapters

Sorry for the delay in replying we have all been away on Holiday !

I have'nt got FCP5 so it's hard to replicate what you are doing...

...but how would 'chapters' work in a .mov file.

Chapters are for when you 'create' a DVD ?

I may be mistaken but I don't see how you 'could' have chapters in a .mov file

What is it that you are trying to do ?

If you still have the problem can you post in greater detail please.
I run FCP5 on several machines and we need to understand what/how you are trying to achieve.
I just LOVE FCP5 as I also run Adobe Premiere Pro on Windows XP and there is NO contest between the two of them.
As a last question why are you trying to DVD author in FCP5?

OOPS just noticed you are creating *.MOV files.
WHY?
What codecs are you using?
