Thank you in advance for the help.
I recently upgraded the memory (to 8G) and Hard Drive to SSD 550G. When I tried powering up the computer it keep beeping, the the battery died and I haven’t been able to turn it on. I did a pad power - not sure what I was doing- but the fans do tuen on.
Did I totally ruin my computer?

Hello and welcome.

The MacBook (13-inch, Late 2009) has a 4 GB RAM maximum officially supported by Apple, but 8 GB RAM maximum unofficially. It takes 204-pin PC3-8500 (1066MHz) DDR3 SO-DIMM RAM.

Are you hearing a three beep pattern? If so, that signifies that the RAM is not seated properly, incompatible, or not being recognized. The first suggestion would be to reinstall the original RAM and see if it starts up. If so, there is an issue with the new RAM.
