Hello All,

We are using two types of Authentication for connecting Wi-Fi

# AD Based

# WPA -> Pre-shared key based

# AD Based Auth :

We could see there is no network connectivity while in Wi-Fi login screen by doing ping test in another workstation in same network and checked. Once we login and checked its get connected.

WPA Based Auth :

We could see there is Network connectivity while in Wi-Fi login screen by doing ping test in another workstation in same network and checked. Once we login and checked its get connected.

The issue we try to convey here In AD auth mode while in login screen network not connected once we login it gets connected. But, In WPA mode we don't have any issues (Connects in Login Screen and also once login). So, Is there any changes we need to do in Mac side. Could someone please help on this. It would be really grateful.

Regards,

Hello and welcome.

-Are you using any form of MDM system to manage the Macs via configuration profiles?
-AD - Are you using a trust certificate, and possibly authenticating via TLS as computer, then user via AD at login?

No worries, we are all busy. ;)

-What version of OS X are the Macs running?
-Did you BIND the Macs to the AD domain via  > System Preferences... > Users & Groups > Login Options > Network Account Server: Join?
