Hi Folks,
I use Little Snitch to keep an eye on what applications are trying to communicate with the mothership.
What I find confusing is the many and varied connections OSX tries to make with no explanatory names and server addresses.
I am very interested to know what they all do so I can make a decision as to whether to allow or deny them without affecting the general performance of my machine.
I have tried looking for a definitive guide line but not found much that is really helpful beyond searching for each connection by name, which normally leads me to a forum discussion, again incomplete.
Can anyone direct me to a good source to understand the communications between OSX and apple to aid in setting up my LS rules.
Thanks in advance,
Chocolate Tea Pot
