Does anyone know if the upgrade to Leopard is free or not? Because I just bought my Mac, and it came with 10.4.8. And now I hear that Tiger is in its final stages now...and Leopard is coming out in October! I would be really mad if I have to buy Tiger when it comes out for $130-$200, like the price of Tiger now. Will the System Update update this for us?
Too bad if it won't be free, but if it isn't, let's just say my friend bought it. He installed it on his computer, but will I be able to install it on my Mac, too using his discs?
Also, when I install Leopard, will my hard disk be the same? Thanks a lot...
