Intermittent airtunes play

I have reset everything but after a year of great airtunes I now have a problem!
All is well for a few seconds but then the track play clock slows or stops on itunes and at the same time the music stops! I thought it may have been a hardware problem but sometimes it will work for 5 mins with no probs. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

have you tried running disk repair and repair permissions from Disk Utility ?

I wonder if there are any 'new' wireless networks near you, that may be interfering ?


What version of OS X do you have ?

What version of software is on the Airport Express ?
