I just saw this, via the site www.maccentral.com:
https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT208403
IN actuality, it comes from here:
https://www.pcworld.com/article/324...cpu-kernel-bug-faq-how-it-affects-pc-mac.html
I do not use Safari (although I have version 11.0.2), and I have both kept up to date with my 3 browsers (Google Chrome, FireFox, and Opera), along with "Furthermore, the Chrome web browser itself was updated to include an opt-in experimental feature called “site isolation” that can help guard against Spectre attacks". Finally, I am using OS 10.13.2.
So far I have not seen any Intel firmware updates. Here is what it says about those:
"Intel is also publishing firmware updates for its processors. You’ll need to snag them from your PC, laptop, or motherboard maker (like HP or Gigabyte) rather than Intel itself."
So I wonder fi we have to wait for Apple to release these.
